Tira Urquhart: Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle Editor at BET

Tira Urquhart is a Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle Editor at BET. 

Before she started her position at BET, she worked for Cosmopolitan, Sequin Jewelry, Katie Mossman Studios, BCBG, and Jones Apparel Group. She had jobs in social media marketing, digital marketing, and styling. 

She studied Fashion Marketing at the American InterContinental University and received a Fashion Styling Certificate from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She interned at many different companies where she gained knowledge of all of the various realms of the fashion industry.

It’s officially been 1 week since I’ve been practicing “social distancing.” It’s not as bad as I thought it would be. I’ve been spending a lot of time on FaceTime with my girls, chatting for hours with my mom, playing uno and scrabble with my family, color therapy ?(which is very soothing btw) and walking a mile after spending 8 hours a day #WFH.. oh and I’ve taken about 10 trips to target ?.
