Mary Gui is the founder and CEO of Sock Candy.
Gui is also the influencer behind Layersofchic.com.
She interned at Showtime Networks, Modern Luxury, Arby’s Sales Group, McCann Erickson, and the Bedford Group. Gui has previously worked as a public relations manager and the head of public relations at Kollaboration Atlanta, as well as the account manager and account executive at JWT. She also worked as an account manager at DigitasLBi, and an account supervisor at Havas Worldwide.
She attended Emory University for marketing and business communications. She had always wanted to work in fashion growing up, but she did not know that fashion school was an option. Looking back, Gui thinks she would have gone to the Fashion Institute of Technology or Parsons School of Design.
