James Worthington DeMolet: director of brand image and content strategy at Steve Madden.

James Worthington DeMolet is the director of brand image and content strategy at Steve Madden. 

He currently focuses on Betsey Johnson and Superga. He’s also a freelance fashion stylist, art director and creative director. 

In his early years in the industry he worked as a fashion assistant at Nylon and GQ Magazine, a fashion assistant and freelance menswear market editor at Teen Vogue, and a fashion and creative director at The Block Magazine.  

Later in his career he worked as a styling editor at Moda Operandi Inc. and a manager of styling at Gilt.com. He then went on to work for Hearst Magazines as a senior fashion editor and style director for Seventeen and Cosmopolitan. DeMolet then became the fashion director for Alice & Olivia until he went onto his current position.
