Anneke Knot is the Assistant Beauty Editor at Real Simple and Health Magazines.
Before Knot was an assistant beauty editor, her previous roles included junior account executive and junior associate at Tractenberg & Co, freelance fashion closet assistant at Hearst Fashion Lifestyle Group, fashion and social media assistant at Story + Rain, and fashion closet intern at Redbook.
Knot went to Calvin University where she majored in English and German. She knew she liked English in high school and didn’t know what path she wanted to take for the future, so an English major made the most sense to her. One of Knot’s professors advised her to start a blog as part of her thesis. She started writing about trends and the fashion industry and eventually decided to apply to an internship in New York City at Redbook.
